Antonio Eggert (*2001 in Berlin) received his first musical instruction at the age of six on the accordion, followed by piano and organ lessons in Munich. From an early age he gained extensive concert experience as a soloist and ensemble musician, including collaborations with the Munich Symphony Orchestra.
From 2020 to 2024 he studied Catholic Church Music (Bachelor's) at the University of Catholic Church Music and Music Education Regensburg. He received formative artistic guidance in organ lessons with Prof. Franz Josef Stoiber and in music theory with Prof. Richard Beyer. He then completed his Master's degrees in Catholic Church Music (organ with Markus Rupprecht) and Organ Improvisation with Prof. Dr. Martin Gregorius, graduating successfully in 2026. In addition, he attended composition courses with Enjott Schneider and Johannes X. Schachtner.
Antonio Eggert also received important inspiration in masterclasses with Olivier Latry, Thierry Escaich, Karol Mossakowski, David Cassan, Sietze de Vries, Peter Planyavsky, Hans-Ola Ericsson, Stefan Engels, and Wolfgang Seifen.
From 2023 to 2026 he was assistant organist at the Stiftsbasilika St. Martin in Landshut, and also regularly served as substitute organist at Regensburg Cathedral (St. Peter). Since 2023 he has been a scholarship holder supported by the Cusanuswerk. In 2025 he was awarded second prize at the 19th International Organ Improvisation Competition in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
Since autumn 2026, Antonio Eggert has been studying in the Master's program in Film Music at the KONRAD WOLF Film University in Potsdam Babelsberg.
Alongside his supraregional concert activity, he devotes himself equally to liturgical organ playing, free improvisation, and composition.
